Don’t Throw Away A Faulty Ceiling LED. Revive it first! (Bypass Dead LED)
Просмотров 6 тыс.2 года назад
Ceiling LED lamps often stop working for 1 of 2 reasons - either a faulty driver or a burnt out LED. In this video, I explore reviving a non-working ceiling light by shorting out the contacts of the dead LED so that the remaining LEDs can work again. This is great if you are trying to repair a custom LED light such as those integrated with a ceiling fan or specialty lightings that are otherwise...

Thank u so much for this video. Very helpful for first timer like me 😊 icould’nt do it without your video. Credit to uncle fix it 😊🌈🫠
i just searched for this cuz i havent been cleaning mine for 8 years
Thanks
Screw these stupid robots... I bought one two days ago, and I already have an issue with it not turning left... What the hell...
Thank you for this review. You have a beautiful voice.
Thank you for your kind words
Did you apply glue on the new tyres?
I didn’t. I have been using it for months since the change and the tires are still tightly fitted to the wheels.
Question: How high from or off the floor should it be placed? I feel like I'm not getting the most of my 3 units...
1:14 was that easy to pull off? I think mine is clamped down or something; I can't just pull the front off to remove it. Know anything about that?
thank you uncle
Thanks!
I opened it from the back side sort of. I need a new timing belt though, mine is torn. No idea where to find one that is the same size
I'm a fan! 😂
thanks !!!!
I have ordered the the magnet float in your link and use your method to remove the plastic sleeve which is not easy in my Europace and now works perfectly. Thanks very much .
Hope it helps!
Thanks for the video. Can you explain more, what do you mean by piggyback ?
I have a lasko pedestal fan with a metal front cover & plastic back cover. There are no clips to remove the cover just plastic pieces holding it in place. How can I remove the metal cover without breaking the plastic backing?
It's probably held together by pressure. Try putting a shoe string between a couple of the tines (about 3-4 in apart). Pull gently.
@@atlknight1 I’ll try that!
Where do I buy it?
Not on a S6MarX
Thank you ❤
Thank you- very useful video
My lasko standing fan has been making an obnoxious rattle/buzzing noise for months now, it gets better when I clean the blades. I’ve been wondering if I could take the housing off the motor and this video is helpful! Now I’m gonna go by some compressed hair and blast away all the lint and hair out of the motor and stuff
First time I have fixed my fan without help getting help from my husband...thanks..👏👏
For some reason I can't remove the bolt that connects the neck 😂
Thanks. A very useful tutorial👍
Hi, impressed with your video. I have a KDK box fan SC30H, randomly stops. I suspect it's the capacitor problems. Do you help others to repair? Do hear from you soon. Thx!
Thanks for the compliment. If your fan switches off randomly, the capacitor is likely the issue.
Hi, I think it is the capacitor. But I need help changing it. I am not technically inclined. Do you provide such service? Can you help?
Have mop P and on carpet this happens. On hard floor not so much. Cleaned and it worked for 10 minutes. Than again problem.
Good price, good sent choices, box needs to tell you how to turn on & off, as it's not stated in the micro print on the box..
Does it comes with a remote
Could you use bike chain lubricant to oil your fan? (Its all I've got at the moment).
I have tried bicycle chain lubricant and it worked for me too.
How did you remove the wheel
Very helpful, thank you
Hi, I am hopeless with DIY. Would you be able to assist me in replacing the wheels for a fee pls? Thanks
Is the oiling compulsory?
Is the chair comfy after a few hours? I tried it in the store and seemed great for the few seconds I sat on it, but how is it in the long run? Thinking of buying one.
It is comfy for long periods of sitting.
@@fuzzy34r Thank you, for the info and also for the video because it's easier to learn when you see someone else doing it.
Where is your location.. Help me fix/repair my Bosch IXO. It is not working. I'm from Caloocan City Philippines
Thanks for sharing! I've got some electronic stuff with corroded batteries that don't reapond to isopropyl alcohol. Will give sanding a try.
Such a cute clock!
Thank you for sharing! Will follow this video to repair mine, I believe we have the same winder haha
My only gripe is how do you know when to refill? And how do you know when the battery 🪫 dies?? That’s a huge turn off imo.
Yeah, there is no indication whatsoever.
@@fuzzy34r that’s a shame as I do like it very much. ☹️
This gave me exactly what I needed to fix my programmable Orbita, and my gearing mechanism was identical to what's in the video. I disassembled, cleaned, relubed, and my winder now starts consistently without a nudge.
That is good to hear! Glad it helped.
Hi Uncle, my symptom similar but a little different, when i press the reset button(sometime once, sometime many time) the water heater will start Want to check if this is also the magnet float issue too?
I'm not sure as mine does not have a reset button. Suggest that you search for videos relating to water heaters with the reset button for more info.
any idea if one is not moving smoothly ..then what to do?
There are several possibilities. Check if your wheel is clogged with hair and dirt. Your sensors might also be dirty or faulty.
There are 2 bolts at the bottom of the engine of my My Honda Wave. Which one should I open?
Check your owner's manual to be safe!
PS The correct name of the faulty model is 'Metallisk'
Can you still press the manual spray button if the switch is set to off i.e. just use it manually instead of on the timer?
No. It will not work at all when set to off.
just short the magnetic flow sensor and will solve your problem.
No. This will activate the heater all the time whether or not there is water flowing.
@@fuzzy34r Noted. Thanks
Mine Soo hard to open 😭
hye can u teach me how to dismantle the wheel.. hair stuck inside the black wheel..
Same issue as me
Bro, how to teardown the wheel completely? My wheels are jammed, gears or motor needs to be cleaned, can you make a video, the is no video on the internet for this model. Mine is Xiaomi robot vacuum
Putting that blade into the razor is not easy!! I don't know how you get it in without needing stiches. Someone needs to come up with a tool to insert it. Once in it is great. Good Luck!!
